My first clue should have been when I opened a box that had 8 pages of instructions for a gingerbread house...REALLY?!!!! My second clue was that I expected my 2 year old to make a house without eating a bite.....you can take a guess at the outcome...

that's how our last gingerbread house came out. This time we used a little mini kid size milk carton (as the frame), made some frosting ourself, and then used graham crackers. It seemed to work out better, but like you saidd, what matters is the joy in their little faces!
