Our baby turns 2...

Well here's another love letter to our youngest daughter Maddie. I've decided every year I will do this to my sweet girls to show how much I love them, and as they grow older they can see the never ending love we have for them.
Maddie was our first born in Tennessee. She flew in my belly to visit our new house, she moved cross country with us at 10 weeks ( still in my belly :) I was convinced she was a boy, I would drink lemon juice, douse fish in lemons, and in general couldn't get enough lemons! Well we were shocked when Maddie was a girl! You were feisty from the minute you were born. You had your own plan and no one was goi g to disrupted it! You cried non stop ( colic) and after the first 3 months you gained weight and became a much happier baby:)  our pediatrician didn't even recognize you for your 3 month check-up because you were so chubby!

You have a great spirit about you, always ready to give a hug, kiss, or wave hello. However if someone doesn't do what you want you get very fresh! At the moment your tantrums include throwing whatever chair s around you, toy etc. your strong minded and will have great leadership skills as you grow older. You love your sister, and cuddle on her lap every chance you can. You've made us grateful for being able to be your parents. You taught us to be tough, scaring us senseless having pneumonia twice, asmtha, ear tubes, and stitches, all before you turned two! Through it all you smiled, laughed, and cheered us up!
You taught me how to balance the needs of two kids, how I was worried over nothing when I thought I wouldn't have enough love to give you.  Your hard to keep up with, always on the go, and trying to imitate your big sister ever chance you get:)I can't wait to see you grow up into the smart beautiful woman you will become. I feel privileged to be able to be there every step of the way.  You've shown us countless ways to love, learn, and be better parents... I love you to the moon and back Madeyln Rose.
