.: Memphis part 1

Olivia has had a week off due to fall break so we decided to tag along on one of Steve's business trip's to Memphis. We booked a reservation at the Peabody hotel which is known for the duck parade so we thought it would be very kid friendly. This was our first long car trip with Maddie, around 4 hours. However we did not take into account the toddler we had with us and the amount of times we would have to stop for pee-breaks!! We made it the Memphis in one piece (and without killing each other...just kidding...actually not really lol) anyways the hotel was beautiful and very elegant. Olivia had her Dora suitcase and wakes right in saying hello to the bellman, you would have thought she owned the place! They had real ducks that live in the fountain of the hotel, and once she saw those her life was made. She immediately screamed the saying hello the each of the ducks, very cute! While Steve headed out for a couple work meetings that afternoon we went down to the pool for a swim. Olivia can now swim very well and has swimmies she wears. Maddie tries to eat the water and loves when Liv dunks under and pops up in front of her! Here area few pictures of our mini-vacation :)
