Hello Ohio!

So we headed out to Ohio for Julie and Shawn's wedding! We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a great welcome basket filled with Canton goodies including wine, cheese and chocolate!
 Friday night we headed out to Shawn's parent's for a good old family cookout and we have never seen so much home cooked food, we even had the bartender's making cape-codders!! Saturday Steve went bowling with the boys and I attended a ladies tea.  Julie's mom saved all of her flowers she received through her life and crushed them to make a great potpourri as a favor!

The wedding was on a rooftop that was so magical, all the boys were in suits and aviator glasses which was too cute! The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was just like a nightclub. The food was great and the DJ was a blast! We were sad to leave Canton, but even sadder to learn of the death of a family friend Lorraine L'Heureux.

She led a happy and family filled life and her daughter's and grandchildren will especially miss her. She loved our dogs and Liv and would make us food to freeze. Our favorite memory of "grandma" was bringing pastries to me and Christina and talking for hours about how she met her husband and the good old days!

    While we were away Mimi and Aunty graciously house-sat. I left a list of activities I thought Liv would like and of course the majority of their time was spent shopping! Liv came away with a new princess dress, tricycle and helmet and a new wardrobe!  Our vacation was a nice break were we didn't have to think about being parent's and could really concentrate on our marriage. We are glad to be back and cannot wait to the next trip!!
