Well here's another love letter to our youngest daughter Maddie. I've decided every year I will do this to my sweet girls to show how much I love them, and as they grow older they can see the never ending love we have for them.
Maddie was our first born in Tennessee. She flew in my belly to visit our new house, she moved cross country with us at 10 weeks ( still in my belly :) I was convinced she was a boy, I would drink lemon juice, douse fish in lemons, and in general couldn't get enough lemons! Well we were shocked when Maddie was a girl! You were feisty from the minute you were born. You had your own plan and no one was goi g to disrupted it! You cried non stop ( colic) and after the first 3 months you gained weight and became a much happier baby:) our pediatrician didn't even recognize you for your 3 month check-up because you were so chubby!
You have a great spirit about you, always ready to give a hug, kiss, or wave hello. However if someone doesn't do what you want you get very fresh! At the moment your tantrums include throwing whatever chair s around you, toy etc. your strong minded and will have great leadership skills as you grow older. You love your sister, and cuddle on her lap every chance you can. You've made us grateful for being able to be your parents. You taught us to be tough, scaring us senseless having pneumonia twice, asmtha, ear tubes, and stitches, all before you turned two! Through it all you smiled, laughed, and cheered us up!
You taught me how to balance the needs of two kids, how I was worried over nothing when I thought I wouldn't have enough love to give you. Your hard to keep up with, always on the go, and trying to imitate your big sister ever chance you get:)I can't wait to see you grow up into the smart beautiful woman you will become. I feel privileged to be able to be there every step of the way. You've shown us countless ways to love, learn, and be better parents... I love you to the moon and back Madeyln Rose.

Backyard Fun!
The weather has been getting much warmer over the last few weeks down here so when it finally hit 85 degrees we brought out the kiddie pool and sprinkler for some backyard fun! The girls love to play in the yard and have a blast! Here are a few pictures of our fun morning !

Camping
Dad decided he was going to expose Olivia to the outdoors by taking her camping with Uncle Keith. I was so glad to stay home and thoroughly enjoyed a chick flick and early bed time with Maddie:) I made Steve take my camera and here are a few of their action shots. Steve said Olivia's favorite part of camping was going into the tent to change into different outfits! Pretty sure she may not be the camper he is hoping to turn her into :)

Papa and Yaya Visit :)
Papa and Yaya came to visit us for the girl's birthday party and Olivia's first soccer game of the season! It was a great time of year for them to visit, the weather was warm but not too hot and the girls had a blast with their grandparents! We had a busy long weekend, that included and Elton John concert, a fire-pit in the back yard, and lots of cuddles! The visit's always go by way to quick and we all miss Yaya's cooking!

Girls Bday Pool Party!
This year I decided to have a joint party for the girls since there birthdays are 3 weeks apart and they have all the same friends! I decided on a pool party at the local Y and choose a preppy whale theme for the girls. After last year's major pinterest disaster I decided to hire someone to do the dessert table, and to everyone's relief too! She did a wonderful job as you can see in the picture above and she made wonderful cupcakes, cookies, pretzels dipped in chocolates, Oreo truffles and more. We had around 15 children show up and after we sang happy birthday we headed to the pool. The girls had a great time, especially since Daddy was throwing them under in the pool. Olivia has done a great job improving swimming since she has taken lessons and we realized Maddie clearly has NO FEAR at all of the water and was jumping off the side dunking under, going down the slide, and trying to keep up with all the big kids:)
