.: Mimi's Visit

Once again we had one of our favorite visitors come for a long weekend to Tennessee..Mimi! We had a fun filled few days and managed to completely drain any energy she had by the time she left! My Mom is always a great sport, which includes sleeping in Liv's bunk beds, having children and animals climb on her and even offer to babysit! She brought a bag full of candy and her and the girls managed to eat large amount and burn lot's of energy! Liv loves to do make-up with Mimi, and each morning they would put on make-up in the bathroom as Maddie tore everything out of my mom's suitcase. We had a great St. Patty's Day, we went shopping, while Steve played with Olivia. He then cooked a great corn beef and cabbage dinner for my very Irish Mom :)
We have a great aquarium that is about 1.5 hours from us so we headed out there on Monday while Steve worked. Not so great was driving through the hills and valleys when there is torrential rain and tornado warnings! The girls had a great time and we discovered that Maddie has no fear. They have a touch tank that Maddie (and myself) touched skates as they swam by! We saw beautiful butterflies, a bird show, and even stopped at Ben and Jerry's afterwards!
The girls had lots of fun with Mimi, and constantly fought over her attention. Maddie just wanted to cuddle the entire time, and if she couldn't find her in the house she would start screaming "Mimi!" I'm pretty sure my Mom has had her full of the Beane house as we are much louder than her quiet life, constantly have dogs and kids in and out and there is usually one kid crying! Maddie woke up from a nap the day she left and kept walking around screaming Mimi, not realizing she wasn't here anymore:( Great news is we head up North in about 6 weeks, then a month after that for my sister's wedding!
