Alabama!

After a few months of not traveling, the Beane girls headed out with our good friend Kelly and Caroline for a good old road trip to the beach! I had never been to Alabama so I was excited to see the state as we drove through! It was about an 8 hour drive each way, and after a few meltdowns we made it down while sightseeing along the way...not too much to report about the state besides being pretty flat and lots of trees that reminded me of the movie Forest Gump. Once there was literally went to the beach, the pool, ice cream and dinner:) Perhaps growing up on a beautiful sandbar has something to do with it but I am so at peace when at the beach. We had one crazy rainy day and let me tell you our kids were literally climbing the walls! We headed out for some shopping and ended up coming home with two hermit crabs that we bought ( I know who buys a crab!!!!) Olivia named it Cinderella and has not let it out of her sight from the time we bought it....pretty ironic since I am TERRIFIED of crabs!! Anyways here is lots of pics from the trip :)
the view from our condo!

after a long car ride Maddie slept very well!

Yes this was the best picture we took and yes I know Maddies eyes are closed
