Maddie has been fighting a cold recently and after a few days of high temps, and a trip to the doctors, we ended up at Vanderbilt Children's hospital. Maddie was diagnosed with pneumonia, fluid in the lungs, and dehydration. I have never been more of a mess then I was on this day. Watching nurses hold her down while they try to get an IV in her is the worst feeling, she was screaming at the top of her lungs crying, looking at Steve and I and there was nothing we could do! After about 8 hours she got released and if already feeling much better. A very scary day for the Beane family...
