Our neighbor's came over a few nights ago for some steak that Steve was making on the grill. After a great dinner we stripped both girls down to diapers and got ready to start tub time. The girls had other plans on their mind's though! It started out as Avery going in for a hug and before we knew it they were wrestling and giggling...it was the cutest thing!!! Here are the pictures that Ben took, hope you enjoy them:)

Playdates and Wrestlemania!
This morning we headed over to Declan's house for a play date and our friend Jason was there also:) We had lot's of fun swimming in the pool and got to eat Popsicles afterwards! Liv is really working on blowing bubbles and kicking at the same time, pretty soon she'll be swimming on her own!

So we headed down this past week to pick out a house that we would live in when we move in LESS than a month...ahhh!!! THe first thing we noticed was how clean it was down there, I am talking not one piece of trash anywhere, it really was amazing! Also it is very hilly, I expected lot's of very flat farmland, and during our drive certain parts were, but for the most part is was extremly full of hills. Our visit was pretty packed, we also tried to add in fun activies for Olivia to keep her happy. We went to a great science mueseum, that my husband had more fun than any of us:) We also went to a great playground and swam in the hotel pool :) Everyone was soo friendly and really had the southern charm that we have heard about!!

Bows, Bows, Bows!!!
After spending large amounts on Liv's hair-bows, (according to Steve), and Olivia taking them off randomly in public and me not noticing we have lost a ton of her hair Bows. After putting in two adorable matching bows this morning and realizing an hour later in the mall one was missing, I have had enough. I bought the necessary supplies and once Liv was down for her nap went to work. They are surprisingly easy to make and actually fun. I even figured out how to make a bow holder to hand in her room! I just had to blog about this because this is something that has been bugging me for months and I have finally found a less expensive solution, horray!!!

Auntie and the Zoo!
Yesterday Liv's Auntie Maggie came for a visit :) We headed over to the Capron Zoo to meet up with a few other friends as well. Liv loved going to the zoo with auntie because she got to show her all her favorite's there! Here is a few pic's of the day :)

Cards for Papa!
Since Liv's Papa is not feeling too well we decided to do a little coloring and make a card for him the other day. While I was setting up, Olivia was extremely quiet which meant only one thing....TROUBLE. As I peeked into the kitchen I could not believe what I saw! She had figured out how to undo the kid-proofed cabinet and was taking all of the Tupperware out. It took Steve over 2 hours to install all the locks on the inside of the drawers that were a hundred years old. I guess it's a good thing we are moving so we can get a different kind that she cannot figure out!
We moved onto making a card, which by the way Manny sat next to her the entire time and Liv relentlessly tried to hand him crayons so he could color also :) I also took a picture of the crayon that Olivia had to sample to make sure it was edible!

Cousin's on the Cape!
This weekend we headed over to meet the newest Beane Family addition, Lila! We got up pretty early and headed down and only hit about a 1/2 mile back up at the bridge. Liv did great on the car ride down, perhaps it was the munchkins that kept her quiet! Lila has a full head of hair and is so cute :) Lulu is a great big sister, and seems to always want to help out.
On our way back off Cape we stopped a restaurant right at the bridge. I had some great seafood that they just don't make as good anywhere else but on the cape it seems! We sat outside and there was a nice breeze blowing and the sun was out :) It made us sad to realize our days on Cape our now limited with the upcoming move, but it also makes us want to do everything we can before we leave!
view from our table |
This morning (Sunday morning) we headed to the playground pretty early! We saw lots of the farm animals and Liv is doing really well working on saying and naming the different ones (her favorite is "moooo moooo coooow.")

Playground and Bubbles!

At the Patriot Place they had an exhibit with, "the Bubble man," aka a creepy older man with a weird hat who danced and blew bubbles. We met Sarah, Jill, and Sue with all the kiddos there and they seemed to enjoy it, although it was a tough time since the kids were all hungry and ready for naps so we all lasted under an hour there.
Clearly by Olivia's face we need to work on sharing with our friends! |
