Jumper's Playhouse!

Olivia playing princess with the dogs...I think Manny wears a dress well!!

Since Liv is off from school this week, we have been a little stir crazy and decided to head to our local indoor bouncy playground. Our friend Kiley-Jo has school the opposite days as Liv so the girls were very excited to get together!. Of course you have to pay almost 10 bucks to get in, and all Olivia cares to
do is run around and not go on any of the bouncy castles.....Heres a few pictures from our visit there!

Hugs for Liv and KJ

Gingerbread hell?!

My first clue should have been when I opened a box that had 8 pages of instructions for a gingerbread house...REALLY?!!!! My second clue was that I expected my 2 year old to make a house without eating a bite.....you can take a guess at the outcome...

Liv mixing the frosting

all smiles no issues yet...

ughh ohh, what is she eating...

A Sunday Afternoon at the Beane's

I just had to grab my camera when Liv and Steve were doing crafts this weekend :) Maddie was happily jumping in her Johnny Jumper while they painted a few ornaments. How cute is Steve at Liv's table, such a good dad to his girls:)

Crafts and tea!

On a recent cold day, and by cold I mean 50 degrees :) We decided to make a few crafts which Liv now loves to do.  She is really into using a glue stick and painting so we try and do different things based around those.  We made a few ornaments for the tree, and Maddie played in the exersaucer. Unlike Liv, Maddie only will play in it for about 10 minutes and then want to get out.  She now rolls everywhere and get's into everything!

Cape Cod Christmas!

This year we decided to head up to New England to have an early Christmas with both of our families. We split the vacation into 2 days with each family.  Each side also had a Christmas party were we all exchanged presents which Olivia loved (and Mad loved eating the wrapping paper!)  Our flight up wasn't bad with the girls, and Olivia is so used to flying that she is a pro going through the airport. As we were de-boarding the plane the pilot gave Liv a flying "wing" pin which she loved and I had to promptly take away because it was a pin (he may be able to fly a pin but for the love of god don't give a 2 year old a sharp object!) We also got a few compliments from people sitting near us on the flight about how good the girls were so we were all in a pretty good mood! We stayed at Stephen's brother's Scott and his family's house for the first 2 days.  Olivia had a blast playing with the cousins and seeing all of the family!Saturday morning we headed over to Stephen's grandparents Billy and Barbara and his aunts stopped by too. In true Cape Cod style one of their neighbor's brought over a fresh lobstah he had caught and the kids were so excited and also a bit scared! Steve's aunts and Grandma also set up a tea-party for the girls (after lots of begging) and had lots of goodies with their "tea". Jake the dog was great with the girls and had easily 20+ treats while we were there!

within 5 minutes the kid's were all on the ipad!

Papa and Stephen discussing electronics.....zzzzzz...

tea-party time!

Yes this TV still works!

Grandma, Aunt Debbie, and Aunt Paula were all servents to these two!!

love this pic!

we named him larry the lobsta!

We headed around town and Steve showed us (for the millionth time) his old house, the post office and the ocean which was about 1/8th of a mile from his house growing up, so jealous!! Yaya and Papa came over and the girls loved seeing them and playing with their other cousins Pey, Matt, and Samantha. After lot's of gifts we played a few rounds of the video game, "so you think you can dance," which of course we were horrible at but Lulu is going to be the next American idol, she can dance, sing, and look good doing it!!

Love this little post office

right near Steve's childhood home

house the Beane boys grew up in!

dancing diva's~

We stayed at my Mom's for the last 2 days of the vacation which was also too short (next time we are staying at least a week). Both girls had colds the entire time we were there which made for not so pleasant kid's when combined with the lack of sleep they were getting. We had a nice small little party at my Mum's and had a great meal cooked by Papa Moe.

Maddie is all smiles!

Deep in thought!

of course Liv has John playing a Dora game as soon as he walks in the door!

I love love love this picture!!!

Olivia had lots of fun playing with Grammy's jewelry and Maddie loved playing peek-a-boo with Grampy! On our last day we were all exhausted and just were pretty low key.  Behind my Mother's house is a pond and cranberry bog so we walked down and fed the ducks which Olivia names each duck, "Mommy duck, Daddy duck, baby duck"....and repeat 100 more times.  We visited Grammy and Grampy before we headed back and Boo boo the cat was brave and came and let Liv touch (her/him?).   Boo boo got his fur blown out by a Barbie blow-dryer, curled and brushed.  Maddie slept most of the time there, which of course Liv loved having all the attention :) Although it was a short visit and we weren't able to visit with any of our friends :( we were very grateful that we were able to visit around the holiday season. It does make it a little bit easier being down here and I'm hoping to continue our early Christmas each year on Cape Cod!
