Build A Bear with Mimi!

On Mimi's first day during her visit we hit up the mall ( I know surprise!) and of course Olivia lured her into Build-a-bear, which happens to be the most expensive stuffed animal store in the world! Mimi had never been so this was a very expensive visit for her and the grand-kids! Olivia decided to to get a dog named "Poodle." which happens to be our neighbors new dog! Olivia decided to not get any outfits, and Mimi bought Maddie a cute tiger puppy:) Once you filled the animal with stuffing and a heart, you can give it a bath, pick out an outfit and register it in the build a bear registry!

Disney on Ice

This was our second year in a row going to Disney on Ice, and we loved it just like last year! We were not sure how Maddie would do since she does not sit still, but she actually watched the show for about 30 minutes which we were both happily suprised:) We get so spoiled with the lux box which is great for the kids, to run around in or sit and watch the show in heat! Maddie has ben fighting a cold and as you can see from just about every picture she is NOT happy ( except when running or climbing)

Knoxville!

The girls have a week off for fall break, so we decided to tag along with Steve on a work trip to Knoxville! Olivia was so excited to stay at the hotel she talked about it nonstop for days before! When we first walked into the hotel room, Liv exclaimed, "They have a tub for us to talk a bath in Mom!!", she then proceeded to run to the ice bucket saying it was a tea set, the beds had pillows...etc!! I am not sure what she thought we were staying at but its safe to say she was very happy! After Steve did some work, we headed out to a little market square where they have a couple very cute restaurants, water fountains, and other neat little shops in the square. We had a great dinner and headed back to the hotel afterwards. When we woke up we decided to do a half day at the Knoxville Zoo which was great. Both girls have been fighting colds so we weren't sure how they would do, and after a few hours we had 2 kids having meltdowns! We had a great time at the zoo, I took my first camel ride, Maddie got to practice all of her animal sounds and identify animals, and Liv got to see her reptiles and snakes that her and Steve love!
