T-ball!

Well since the hubby was a baseball player in college, it was without a question that he would want Liv to play tball. He is now the coach  ( a few of the girls are Liv's friends and already call him Uncle Steve!) So far the girls have had one game and blew the other team away ( not  that we keep score at this age, but we still did!) Steve is a great coach and Liv loves to play tball!!

Papa and Yaya Visit Tn!

This past weekend Papa and Yaya visited us in Tn! We had lots of fun , they got to meet Olivia's teacher's at school, going out to eat,and lots of fun at the Pat's game! Since we live so far away from family it's so nice to have family visit! They were able to go to a practice for liv's tball and Papa got to help Steve coach :)

Labor Day cookout!

This year we decided to host our first annual Labor Day Cookout! The weather of course did not cooperate, but that didn't stop anyone:) We played cornhole, had the bouncy set up and lots of food. Steve made his clam chowder which all of the southerns LOVED! The pictures aren't that great as we were pretty busy, but I managed to snap a few! I should mention the night ended with flip cup and beer pong :)

Dinner time at the Beanes!

Since Steve usually travels during the week for work, I am pretty strict in terms of dinner and bath time since Liv is now in school. I usually start cooking ( who am I kidding...I don't cook!!) around 4, and have dinner on the table by 4:45 at the latest. We have realized that our kids get extremely crabby if they haven't eaten by 5. They clearly get this from me, as I am miserable if I am hungry :) We usually have a dance party after dinner in the kitchen, its a way where both kids will stay in my eye sight while I clean up after dinner.  We do baths and usually facetime (skype) with the grandparents.  If it's not to hot we walk with a few of the neighborhood kids and by the time we get back to the house it s bedtime! Maddie is a great sleeper and in bed by 6:45-7 ish and Liv gets to watch a movie in her room at 7 until 8:30ish if she hasn't fallen asleep by then.

Smyrna Tball charity game!

 

Steve has decided to coach Olivia's tball team this year and they had a charity game and family fun day this weekend so we headed over to support the town!  Olivia recently got moved up to the older girls (5-7 yr olds) and her class is on saturday. We headed over to ballet then to the family fun day. Steve played in the coaches game, the girls played kid games to win prizes and candy, and we played some parent child games!
