Playground Playdate!

Olivia has made a few friends in her preschool class this year, and so we decided to meet up with one of her new friends Avery at the playground after school! It was a beautiful fall day, about 85 out and the sun shinning. We packed a picnic lunch and played for a solid two hours!

And Baby makes 5!!

Well the Beane's are expecting again! We are due at the end of spring and are all overjoyed at a new baby in the future! Both girls cannot wait to help feed the baby, cuddle, and play with their new sibling. The girls will be 3 and 5 which is great ages to be a help for me.  Once the baby is born, Ill be home all summer with the kids, then Maddie heads to preschool and Liv goes to kindergarten so I'm looking forward to having a busy summer with three kids!  When we first told Liv we were having a baby, her immediate question was, "well if your belly gets big, what kind of shirts are you going to wear?" She is always fashion conscious! Maddie still hugs my belly and rubs it whispering to the baby, it really is so cute! I'm much more tired with this pregnancy, but still just as sick! We are also moving into the new house in 3 weeks, which is a nice distraction from not feeling so hot, and plenty of time for us to get settled before the baby arrives!

Pumpkin picking!

This past weekend, on a beautiful sunny day we headed to the local pumpkin patch to have some fun! Every year we go, they have lot's of fun things to do like face-painting, farm animals, and rides.  The girls LOVE the farm animals and have no fear of petting them!  Maddie loves to mimic the sounds each animal makes and got a few weird looks from kids lol.  This year both girls wanted to do the little corn maze, I stressed to Liv to stay with Maddie ( we could see both girls entire time)/  Within 2 minutes of entering the maze Liv had left Maddie in the dust and Steve had to climb in the get a crying Maddie!  Maddie quickly forgot about it once she saw the sheep walking around, she is so relaxed around animals she was trying to kiss the sheep on the lips! Gross!!  Both girls got to get their face painted, get balloon animals, and pick out their own pumpkins!

Kangarooos!

Recently the Nashville Zoo opened a new exhibit about Kangaroos. You are able to walk through and actually touch/interact with the kangaroos at their discretion.  Since we have the yearly pass we thought it was a great way to spend a weekend afternoon. We had lot's of fun, Maddie ate a snow cone bigger than her, which I gave to her at the beginning of the trip so of course she was covered in sticky sugar the rest of the trip! The kids loved the Kangaroos, Maddie has no fear and I was afraid a Kangaroo would just pick her up, put it in its pouch and jump away!  We took a picture with the a kangaroo behind us and I literally had to put Maddie in a tight grip because she wanted to pet it! We hit up our favorites, the flamingos, birds, turtles, and goats. The goat we were petting ate our zoo map, and as I grabbed it back I was terrified I was going to get bit!  A fun day at the zoo and a great new exhibit to our favorite zoo!

Another year of Soccer for Olivia!

Olivia is now in her 3rd year of soccer, and she is one of the best on the team! She the smallest and shortest on the team but is one of the fastest runners and very aggressive on the team. Between myself and my husband we have both played almost every sport EXCEPT soccer, so we have had to do some research and look up rules and how to play. Of course Steve went out and bough Liv a full size soccer net, the best gear and ball to practice. It's still close to 100 degrees here so we have to make sure she is fully hydrated and doesn't get heat stroke. Although Maddie seems to be the one who doesn't do well in the heat. Steve will come straight from the office in a suit and sit to watch Liv practice for an hour while Maddie cries and complains of heat:{ Regardless the coach came up to us last week and asked us if Liv would be interested in playing in a year above her age, we said no due to the fact that she is already doing ballet 2 hours per week and on the competition team in addition to soccer....Mia Hamm watch out!
