Bounce House Fun!

Keeping with our theme of staying inside due to the heat we headed over to an indoor bounce gym that the kiddos can play in. Its great becuase Maddie can walk and crawl and climb into the bouncy's by herself. They also have a little playground in the middle that the girls play in. After a solid hour of the kids playing they are both exhausted and fall asleep on the way home, which equals a happy mom!!

Sprinkler Fun!

Since it has been super hot this summer we do alot of activities inside. When we play outside it has to be water related so we broke out the sprinkler and washed our outside toys. The girls had a blast playing with our neighbor Hannah!

Our last Beach day ( sniff sniff )

On the Day before we left we headed out for one last beach day. The weather was great, and water was wicked calm so it made it that much harder to have to pack up that night!! We had such a great vacation, and as much as we love living in the south, we miss our family and all the little things we miss. From cousins birthday parties to visit's with grandparents we really appreciate the time that we do have when we go home.

During the second week on vacation when Maggie was down we had tickets to see the local theatre present Princess and the frog. Last year we headed over to see Cinderella and Liv loved it so much we decided to book another show this year. Last year Maddie was much easier to keep entertained, this year she was waving and yelling Hi and the frog on stage, then wanted to climb over the seats and play with the kids in front of us!! Thanks god I had Mimi and Aunty as help!! We headed over to my grandparents house afterwards to visit with them and my Aunts Pam and Kate. The girls were showered with gifts and attention so of course they had tons of fun!! Maddie had a special moment with Grampy who hasn't been feeling well lately so it made it even more special. The girls were all chatting and catching up, when no one notices Maddie walks over to Grampy and wants to cuddle on his lap! I lift her up and she immediatly cuddles into a little ball and sucks her thumb while Grampy sang her an old nursery rhyme, it was such a sweet moment....

One Steves last day of vaca ( we stayed an extra week) we headed over for our cousin Lyla's bday cookout:) The kids all had a great time playing with each other. It's still hard for me to believe that Peyton the eldest cousin, was 4 years old when I met her, and now shes a teenages and the oldest out of all the kiddo!!!
