Easter and more!

So life has been pretty hectic at the Beane household! We totally forgot how exhausting having a newborn is, Maddie sleeps all day and just wants to hang out at night:) Liv has been adjusting pretty well, except when her Daddy holds the baby, then it is all over and a breakdown happens within seconds.  Anyways Stevo and Sharon came to help and see the new baby. It was nice to celebrate Easter and have a home cooked meal.  Liv loved all the extra attention and made the transition a bit smoother. Here are the Easter and rest of the hospital pictures, Enjoy!

.......and Baby makes 4!!

Early Tuesday morning we left a sleeping Olivia and Aunty Maggie and headed to the hospital to have our baby :)  It was such a different (calm) experience than with Liv that it was almost surreal.  I got induced at about 4am, and we actually heard there was a nurse from Boston coming on the next shift so we requested her and it was great.  During labor we swapped stories about what we like about down south and what we didn't, Steve talked Boston sports, and swapped stories about back home.  I got an epidural but it had a hard time taking effect on me, so I ended up getting more doses throughout the day, however every-time this happened my blood pressure dropped, sending off alarms and in they came with more medicine so I was pretty miserable for the day.  Besides that it was pretty uneventful birth and with two quick pushes at 4:30 pm out came our beautiful baby girl Madelyn Rose Beane.  She weighed just over seven pounds and 19 inches long. Compared to Liv (who was 22inches long/over eight pounds) this one is a peanut! We came up with the name Madelyn because we both agreed that it just sounded right.  My grandmother suggested Rose for a middle name, and following our tradition of family name's it was so we were sold on it! So far she has slept great, eats about 2ounces every couple hours and slept 4 hours straight last night.  If she comes home and sleeps 4 hours I will be the happiest mommy!! Olivia already loves being a big sister and helping by being a "big girl." It also doesn't hurt that she has had Aunty's undivided attention for a few days straight now :)When Liv first came into my room she went right over saying, "Hi Baby Maddy!" It has been hard being here since we don't ever leave her so I was very happy that she wanted to cuddle when she saw me!  When the baby cries, Liv tries to give her a Binky, or if I am wrapping her up she hands her blanky over to her. I cannot wait to see what great sister's they become and the love that they will have for each other.  We are such a blessed family and so happy to welcome her into our family.  Here is some recent pictures we have taken of her (her first 24 hrs) Enjoy!

Easter Crafts!

So the week before the baby came, has been filled with fun Easter activities that required me not being super active.  The weather is already beautiful down here and the flowers are all out and blooming!  Auntie Maggie was able to come down and help out with the arrival of the new baby which has been a huge help! Here's a few picture's of what we have been up too :)

The End is Near!!

So, I officially got my induction date this week...and it is APRIL 19th!!! Sooo close I cannot wait. I asked my Ob if it was possibly as long as I was dilated to induce me around my due date so we could plan ahead in terms of family visiting from out of town.  We have been booking flights like crazy for our parents and my sister. Coordinating everyone’s schedules has not been easy!  However as it stands right now, my sister will be flying down to stay with Olivia  the day before the new baby arrives, and will be staying through the week to help out. Steve’s parents will then be coming in for the holiday weekend, followed by my mom to help out while Steve will most likely be traveling for work the first week in May.  We figured all the company will keep Olivia happy and content and give us a little help during the transition period.  Of course now I am thinking of everything that needs to be done in the next 11 days, very essential things like organizing the garage, and installing dimmer lights and a new screen door. My poor husband has been putting up with my crazy pregnant brain!!We have been trying to keep Olivia busy, however due to my limited mobility it has been a bit of a challenge. We have had great weather lately; I am talking mid 80’s! I love the Tennessee spring!! Today we put out the kiddy pool and Olivia had a great time playing for hoursJ. Here are just a couple pictures, hope you enjoy!
