Since Liv has recovered from her nasty cold and has now passed it on to her parents, we have been laying low and getting ready for Ohio over the holiday weekend! We headed to a new pond in North Attleboro since it was 95 degrees out. Liv had a blast and made a few friends! She has no fear od the water now and wants to literally run straight in, which makes her Mommy very nervous. She loves to blow bubbles and attempt the backfloat which is too cute! Hard to believe but Liv had her 15 month check up! She is doing well is over 30 inches tall and a whopping 24 pounds. She was great at the check-up until it was time for the shots, however an elmo sticker made everything better.

Swimming and the Zoo!
So we have had a busy few days,
Olivia is getting over a little bug
that everyone in our playgroup seems
to have gotten, including the adults!
We went swimming at our neighbor's
grandparents pool, Avery showed
Olivia how to blow bubbles, and I
almost cried when she did it! Popsicle's
were a treat after by Avery's grandma :)
We went to our friend Roman's 2 nd birthday party at the zoo and Olivia loved all the animals! She kept calling everything "Doggie!" She loved the ice cream cake and had a mini freak-out when she couldn't have two pieces. We went on a mini train ride, which she was not a huge fan of and Daddy enjoyed it more than her! Steve went into the petting area and the kids all petted baby goats that I seriously wanted to take one home, (now I see why Tori wanted one). We debated about putting her on the pony ride, so we showed her the horse's and immediately she wanted to see them. I think Steve was more nervous than Olivia, however they both had a great time and Olivia has no fear of the ponies! It's safe to say this will not be our last visit to the zoo this summer:)

I can't believe it is almost the 4th of July!!! To update you on the family, Steve is hard at work taking his online classes for his Master's, and excited about his new grill that he got for father's day!
Olivia and I are both fighting a bit of a cold, so that means a few nice long naps for both of us! We are headed to Ohio next weekend for a wedding, so we are trying to get the house ready for when Mimi and Aunty come to watch Miss Olivia :)
So today was our half-way point in our music class and was a special treat because it was outside. Olivia loves all the different instruments, and the teacher already thinks she is musically talented! I am trying to convince Steve to have her put into piano lessons when is 2 years old, we'll see if she is ready then. Liv really loves when Miss Stacy plays the guitar, and she goes right up in front of her, (about 2 inches away) and dances right along! She also loves to keep the beat with the drums, as we worked with different rhythm's.

My first post!
As I am sitting here at the kitchen table while Olivia is throwing her strawberries off her high-chair and Manny is eating them like is a deprived dog... I am writing my first blog! Pretty exciting I must say :) I thought this would be a great way for family and friends to see what is going on in our lives and how quickly Olivia is growing up! Hope everyone enjoys our updates and pictures!
This weekend was filled with family! Stevo and Sharon came up on Friday night and we went out to dinner at a great local restaurant. Olivia was very well behaved at dinner and it was a special treat for her when her "Papi" took her to feed the ducks afterwards! Saturday night we headed down to the cape for a great dinner at the Luna, where Olivia was not well behaved to say the least (Of course her Mimi thought she was perfect :) Sunday was a great family father's day, and Steve power-washed the house so it looks brand new!!
